I love to read and play sports.
Tom Ward travels to Greece, the land of his mother, to save the world. His mother enlists the help of the witches of pendle. As they travel to Greece, Tom wonders how they will defeat The Ordeen. My favorite part is when Tom's mother swoops down from the ceiling to attack The Ordeen. They lock each other into a death fight. They fight with great strength and speed. They locks eyes and for a split second you can see they rage with in them. The thing that made me love this part was the fact that it was the biggest battle in the book. The emotions Tom showed were perfect. He was scared for his mom, but he was determined to defeat The Ordeen. The description was amazing. The fact that this was the battle that decided the fate of greece was great.
When my brother told me to read this book, I didn’t expect so many good life lessons. This book’s theme is that sometimes you have to sacrifice the items you love for the greater good. One example is that Alice , a daughter of the Fiend, knows she has to die in order to kill the Fiend. Not to mention, the characters show great emotion and character development. An example was that Tom was scared to go to Greece, but when he got there and adapted to the environment he wasn’t scared anymore. If you like to read horror and suspense, you will love this book. There are many suspenseful parts. The author describes scenes with such detail it sends a chill down your spine. Read the book now to experience a magical adventure!!!
