Peter is a little boy that has a pet fox named Pax. When Pax was little Peter found him in a box and took him and cared for him. Then Peter’s dad had to move because of his job and the dad said you have to get rid of that fox go put it back in the forest it’s a wild animal it will survive the wilderness. So Peter had to listen to his dad and he got out of the car and threw a ball and Pax went to go fetch it and Peter had gotten in the car and left that poor little fox all by himself. So peter is in this new neighborhood and he hates it so far and he misses his fox Pax so he writes his grandpa and says “i’m leaving for school don’t want to be late on the first day”, and he leaves to go find his best friend Pax.
