I love to read!!!

Picture
Lies. Cinder will know if it is a lie or the truth. Cinder, by Marissa Meyer makes you think about yourself and what lies you have told. Cinder, a cyborg, wants to save her sister Peony from a horrible disease that everyone refers to as “ the plague.” Unfortunately Cinder’s stepmother volunteers Cinder for research on the plague, something no one has ever survived. When Cinder is in research, she is freed from the research because she has something that protects her. So Cinder wants to go to a ball to warn the prince about a queen that will take advantage of him. Will Cinder make it in time to warn the prince?

My favorite part is when Cinder, the main character, talks to a dreamy prince Kaito when the prince drops off his royal robot to be fixed. This scene really stood out to me because this is the first time you meet the prince. Cinder was feeling nervous because she was talking to a prince. As I was reading, I was excited to meet another main character. Throughout such exciting parts, I found myself learning so much about life outside this fictional world! The life lesson that is taught is don’t judge a book by its cover. Cinder has something in her that is special. You wouldn’t be able to tell by just looking at her. The greatest value of the book is probably the descriptions. The setting and characters are explained with great detail to give you pictures in your mind. Cinder has very detailed emotions and descriptions of what the characters look like. The setting is in great detail so you know exactly when and where you are. Sci-Fi, action and romance lovers come together to read Cinder, a
fabulous beginning to the series by Marissa Meyer.
